In support of both SAF\/AQ and SAF\/SQ focus areas, SAF\/AQC recently unveiled the Acquisition Toolbox with the slogan \u201cEmpowered by Innovation\u201d. \u00a0\u00a0Designed to help acquisition teams infuse innovation in ALL acquisition phases independent of pathway, the toolbox is organized into 7 drawers: Requirements Development, Acquisition Strategy, Solicitation, Evaluation, Award, Post Award, and Alternate Authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The toolbox organization simplifies an acquisition team\u2019s access to the appropriate drawer based on where it currently is or where it is headed in its acquisition. \u00a0Each drawer of the toolbox is populated with tools, trainings, and regulations from Federal, DoD, and DAF organizations that will EMPOWER, ASSIST, ENABLE, and ENCOURAGE an acquisition team in innovating.\u00a0 The toolbox is available at Acquisition Toolbox<\/a> and from the Links tab.<\/p>\n\n\n
