This release incorporates recent Department of the Air Force organizational changes, expands the Software Acquisition Pathway, and updates key acquisition references to ensure practitioners have access to the latest policy, guidance, and process information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Supporting the Transition from PEO to PAE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To align with the Department of the Air Force&#8217;s transition from\u00a0Program Executive Officers (PEOs)\u00a0to\u00a0Portfolio Acquisition Executives (PAEs), the MPM has been comprehensively updated throughout the model.
