The T2COM AvMC VE Office at Redstone Arsenal, AL has scheduled a virtual T2COM AvMC VE Office Contractual Aspects of Value Engineering (CAVE) 3 course for June 23-25, 2026, via Army TEAMS. This course provides a basic understanding of the FAR regulations that govern VECPs. It provides submission and processing details for both government and contractor personnel and guides students through contract examples for a thorough understanding of calculating savings shares for the contractor and the Government. Course work includes Firm Fixed Price (FFP) review and student exercises for the following contract types: Firm Fixed Price Incentive (FPIF); Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF).

This course does not have a registration fee. Government civilian employees will receive 1 CLP for each hour completed. Participation by contractors is strongly encouraged.
