✅ MPM Version 15.6 – Additions and Updates
The Department of the Air Force Modernization Process Model (MPM) now reflects updates in Version 15.6, incorporating new guidance and refreshed content to support mission success and evolving technology needs.
📘 New Additions
The SAF/AQXP Strategic Change Management (SCM) Branch added the following documents to strengthen guidance on Operational and Live Fire Test & Evaluation specifically on AI, modeling and simulation. The SCM Branch, also added documents for new documents to enhance protection planning and information security:
• DoDM 5000.101 – Covers OT&E and LFT&E of AI-enabled and autonomous systems
• DoDM 5000.102 – Establishes standards for verifying, validating, and accrediting M&S
• DoD Technology and Program Protection Guidebook (26 July 2022) – Provides best practices for protecting critical technologies
• DoDM 5200.01V1_DAFMAN 16-1404V1-DAFGM2024-01 – Explain classification, declassification, and information security procedures
🔄 Updated Documents
The SAF/AQXP Strategic Change Management Branch updated the following references to reflect current policies and operational standards:
• DAFI 32-1001 – Clarifies roles and expectations for civil engineering operations
• DAFI 32-9010 – Streamlines management of building services in OSD-assigned facilities (NCR)
• Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements Guidebook – Aligns IPS elements with updated sustainment practices
