The Acquisition Process Model has been upgraded to version 13.4. This new version includes the addition of DoDI 4120.11 Mobile Electric Power Systems, new section of the AFFARS and FAR, and an updated DAFI 65-301 Internal Audit Services. It removed AF/A5R Requirements Development Guidebook Vol. 4 and replaced it with AF/A5/7 Capability Development Guidebook Volume 2H. Acquisition Process Model ver. 12.2

Version 12.2 of the APM has been published. This version of the model removed the Defense Acquisition Guidebook (DAG) as a reference because the DAG has been retired. This version has changes to 10 different documents including the DAG, DoDI 5000.85_DAFI 61-151, Analysis of Alternatives Cost Estimating Handbook, and more. Defense Acquisition Guidebook is Being Retired

DAU is retiring the Defense Acquisition Guidebook and replacing it with a series of new guidebooks. To prioritize the transition of the APM consistent with the expected 16 Sept retirement date, we need your help to prioritize the inclusion of the new guidebooks. Please note the replacement for Chapter 3 (Engineering guidance) is currently in the APM while Chapter 8 (Test and Evaluation) and Chapter 9 (Program Protection) do not currently have superseding guidance.
